Ellen Gale Spencer

Ellen Gale Spencer (nee Reisender), of Columbia, Maryland, passed away on Monday, July 15th, 2024, at the age of 77. She is survived by her beloved children, Chad (Cynthia) Spencer and Courtney (Elliott) Potts; adoring grandchildren, Chloe, Claire, Jillian, and Alexandra; as well as countless more family and friends. She was predeceased by her husband, Reginald Spencer; sister, Noreen (Frank) Halpern; and parents, Frances and Samuel Reisender.

Ellen was a devoted Sister, Mother and Grandmother, and a proud Maryland Attorney, She will be dearly missed. 

The family invites all who are able to join them to attend a celebration of Ellen's life on Saturday, July 27th, 2024, from 1:00 - 5:00 pm, at The Meeting House at Oakland Mills, 5885 Robert Oliver Place, Columbia, MD. Please wear bright colors, remembering the positivity and light that she shared with all who knew her. Contributions in her memory can be made to American Heart Association, online at heart.org.
